DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
To secure a booking, 50% of the total rental is to be paid within 48 hours of making the booking. Payment of a deposit indicates acceptance of the Terms & Conditions. The booking is subject to cancellation if the deposit is not paid within the required time frame. Payment of the balance is required 30 days prior to arrival. If a booking is made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking. Keys are not given unless full payment has been made and the Guest Registration Form has been completed. Payment can be made by Mastercard or Visa. If there is an increase in a tariff, the booking is confirmed by the deposit paid and will be honoured at the tariff rate quoted when booked.
The owner of the property has the right to cancel the booking at any time. In which case a full refund will be made via cheque in the mail or via direct deposit. If a booking is cancelled by guest, this must be done in writing. A booking which is cancelled 30-60 days prior to the arrival date, will incur a cancellation fee cost of 50% of the total amount paid for the booking. A booking which is cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date WILL NOT receive a REFUND of the total amount paid for the booking.
AMENDMENTS & REFUNDS
If a guest wants to change a booking, this is subject to availability. To alter a booking, a minimum of 30 days notice of the booked arrival date is required and this is to be done in writing. Claims for refunds are subject to approval. Refunds will not be approved after arrival.
GUEST REGISTRATION FORM
A Guest Registration Form is required to be completed. The form will be sent to the guest once the deposit has been paid. The Guest Registration Form contains your credit card information which is retained as a security deposit against damage, breakages, extra cleaning costs, missing or stolen inventory, lost keys, dry cleaning of linen if required, additional garbage removal and any attendance required by a security firm. By proceeding with the booking you authorise the owners of the property to charge your credit card for damage, breakages, extra cleaning costs, missing or stolen inventory, lost keys, dry cleaning of linen if required, additional garbage removal and any attendance required by a security firm. Keys will not be issued if the Guest Registration Form has not been completed.
Regardless if damage is willful or not, costs to repair the damage will be incurred by the guests. Guests are responsible for all damages, breakages and missing inventory during their stay.
Guest’s personal property left on the property after departure will be kept for 7 days. If item/s is/are required to be mailed to the guest, this will be mailed by COD. No refund or reimbursement will be issued.
Garbage bins are provided on the property. The red lidded garbage bin is for general rubbish and is collected weekly. The yellow lidded garbage bin is for recycled rubbish and is collected fortnightly. Please refer to the Information Sheet regarding the collection of the Yellow Lidded Bin.
Prior to leaving the property, every effort must be made by the guests to make the property as close to the state of cleanliness and tidiness that it was on their arrival. All garbage from inside the property must be placed in the correct garbage bins outside. All food from the cupboards, refrigerator and freezer must be removed. Dishes must be washed and the dishwasher must be emptied. If the BBQ has been used, it must be cleaned. All furniture is to be returned to its original position.
BBQ GAS REFILL
If the gas bottle runs out while using the BBQ, please take it to a swap and go service, (closest one is at the Service Station at Batehaven), purchase a new bottle and retain your receipt. Fill out the Gas Bottle Reimbursement Form and a refund via cheque will be mailed to you or EFT.
KEYS, CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
Keys to the property are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Only one set of keys are issued. The keys will be put in a Key Safe and you will be notified of the code on the day of your arrival. The property is to be vacated by 10am and the keys placed in the Key Safe.
The number of occupants must not exceed the number of the persons that has been booked for the stay. The booking will be cancelled immediately if the number of people occupying the property exceeds this number and no refund will be given in relation to loss of rent.
NO PARTY POLICY & ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
The property has a “no party policy”. If a party takes place, all guests will be immediately evicted by a security firm and or the Police. The cost of this security call out fee will be paid by the guests. Disruptive behavior, bad language, excessive noise and loud music is not tolerated on this property. Any anti-social behaviour will result in a security firm being called to investigate. The call out fee will be paid for by the guests. Guests may be evicted from the property immediately. In this case, the occupancy will be terminated immediately and no refund will be given in relation to loss of rent.
Smoking is NOT permitted on the inside of the premises. Additional cleaning costs will be incurred by the guests if any deodorising is required inside the premises.
Pets are NOT permitted on this property. If animals are found on the property, the occupancy will be immediately terminated and additional cleaning charges will be imposed. No refund will be given in relation to loss of rent. After the guests have left the property, if it is obvious that animals have been on the property, the guests will be imposed with additional cleaning charges.
Guests are responsible for keys and if keys are lost a $250.00 “Lost Key” charge will be imposed. If a guest locks themselves out of the premises and a locksmith has to be called, the guest will be required to contact the locksmith and pay for this service directly. This cost will NOT be refunded.
If a guest requires a trades person to be sent to carry out an unnecessary repair, the cost of the callout fee will be paid for by the guest.
